Fire Suppression
The Fire/Rescue Branch of the Department handles the traditional fire suppression and rescue needs of the community. The division is charged with providing fire suppression, vehicle rescue, and hazards mitigation. Personnel are trained to extinguish fires and perform various types of technical rescue. The Branch operates from two fire stations and operates 3 Engines, 1 Ladder and 1 Forestry Unit. The Fire/Rescue Branch also supplements the EMS Division with response to all secondary EMS calls and cardiac arrests.
