The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall on 37.8 million Kidde fire extinguishers for becoming clogged or requiring extensive force to discharge extinguishing agents. The recall covers over 134 models of extinguishers made by the company between 1973 and 2015. One death has been linked to the malfunction of these devices, which outlines the importance to have these devices replaced. If you have a fire extinguisher in your home or business, please check each one to ensure it is not part of this recall. Kidde will provide customers with a free replacement.
