On July 12th, the Cape Elizabeth Engine One Company announced its decision to discontinue their Annual Labor Day Art Show fundraiser. Considered by some as an annual tradition, the fundraiser consistently drew large crowds of visitors to Fort Williams Park year after year and became known as one of the premier art shows in the state. In a statement, former Engine One Art Show Administrator Mike Davis expressed the company’s thanks for over 47 years of support from the community and its artists.
There has been no announcement regarding future sponsorship of the event.
